i need the syntax for the SQL express 2005 connection string for dnn 4.5.3

It's in the release.config file, or web.config if you are not upgrading.

Also just as a good note the website http://www.connectionstrings.com is a great reference for examples of connection string values if you want to see the other valid variants from the ones included in the dnn web.config files.
