I got it to work with a slight modification to what you suggested.

<rule>
         <ruleName>port81</ruleName>
         <searchFor>http://(.*?):81</searchFor>
         <replaceWith>https://$1</replaceWith>
        </rule>

There is one problem with this module... I use captcha, and after installing this module the captcha image no longer refreshes to a new one after reloading or refreshing the page.

Is there a way to handles this?

Your replace rule may miss querystrings on the end.

For captacha, you can put that in the excludePath in the PageBlaster config file.
