  ok it all worked fine for me. thanks for the great module by the way.

i like the subcategories but there is one thing:  if a file/post is in a subcategory i would like it to be in the category above as well automatically. can i fix this locally somehow? or are you planning on implementing this?

another thing (doesnt really belong here) : would it be possible that you link the "search" textfield with the button "go" so it searches the repository after you press enter in the textfield?

heng

Hi steve
thanks for your information.
i would like to know also, how can i change the dropdownlist not only from UPLOAD/EDIT , but also for the front .
(i.e. what the anonymous user can see) , how can i change the categories dropdownlist to a tree. i think it will be prgrammatically and not from xml file. just please give me the way and i will try to do it.
thanks for your help

modify the 'header.xml' file as follows...

 <Object>
  <Token>[CATEGORIES]</Token>
  <Settings>
   <Setting>
    <Name>ControlType</Name>
    <Value>Tree</Value>
   </Setting>
  </Settings>
 </Object>

hello again...

i would also like to know how to do what abdaway asked...

for now i use a little workaround: i added another repository dashboard (the first one shows the latest uploads) and set it to display the categories in tree view as described by steve. then i removed the [categories] from my header.html and rearranged the rest a little... voilà...

i somehow felt like i have to share this :D
