True, but the surrent user list is 50+, and hopefully will grow larger thatn that soon...  So I really need a programtic way to do it.  It seems like it should be pretty sinple, I mean, on page load, modify the root folder for that specific user.... problem is, I can't figure out how to modify that property at runtime.  It doesn't seem to be part of the interface for the DNN texteditor control. 

I suppose that I could always roll my own editor control into my module...  but it would be so much cleaner to just use the standard texteditor.

As you can see at the FCKeditor provider source code (FCKHtmlEditorProvider.vb, line 385). The is a function named:

Public Overrides Property RootImageDirectory() As String

That is the function that is defined at the provider level.

Your problem is that the text editor control doesn't support this property. Creating your own texteditor based or inherited from the original control could be so simple, then you can add the needed support.

The editor provider for FCKeditor will include (Next releases) a custom replacement tags when using the custom root folder feature. That will allow admins to setup folders like: /myroot/[TabId]/[UserId]/images
