Is there a skin token that will display the current portal name or alias?

DNN 4.5.3

This is for DNN 3.x, but I think it'll work in 4.5

I unzipped the download and copied the files to Admin/Skins. Then i added this tag to the header of my skin.ascx:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="PORTALNAME" Src="~/Admin/Skins/PortalName.ascx" %>.

Then i placed this token in the skin.ascx:
<dnn:PORTALNAME runat="server" id="dnnPORTALNAME" link="false" />.

the portal name does not display.  did I do this right or am I missing something?

I haven't reproduced what you've done yet but AFAIK, you should have uploaded the skin object like any other normal desktop modules.

After that add this to the header of skin.ascx :

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="PORTALNAME" Src="~/DesktopModules/(SkinObjFolder)/PortalName.ascx" %>
