Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way I can control who gets automated emails and when they're sent? I ask because regardless if a user updates their own password or I as the admin does this, the user gets an automated email. I'd like to change this so that if an admin/host changes a users password, the user gets and email, but if the user themself changes their own password, no email is sent.

Is this possible?

I have a similar question.  My first time to get DNN (v 3.3.7) working was yesterday on my web host provider.  I did not even set up SMTP in the host menu and when I registered myself for testing puropses I got a canned e-mail from the webmaster e-mail account.  How do you edit this e-mail to say what you want it to say instead of the canned variety?

That's easy enough to edit. Log in as admin or host and go to Admin -> Languages. In the drop-down Languages menu, go to Language Editor. Scroll down until you see the text for the email you want to edit.

thanks ... I skipped right over that menu item.  Not an obvious choice.

Bump, because I really need to figure out how to accomplish this.
