When I develop a module which has an edit control there's automatically an menu entry. Can I prevent this (some modules would better describe this over a <asp:Hyperlink>) ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

By default (depending which method you use) the "Edit" control is there.  I think that is meant as a quick framework more than anything else.  I personally have removed the "edit" from the dropdown in several occasions where I didn't want it for one reason or another -- simply find the "ModuleActions" code in the "view" control and remove the entry where it is adding the edit link.

Thanks a lot your help - for some modules/applications does not really make sense a drop-down menu which is titled "Add Content". I'll try it next morning.
