Hi I saw 4.5.4 is out. Can I literally just copy over the existing files with those contained in the zip and NOT have to do any editing to any of the configs? I appreciate the insight. :D

What about skins and application components you already have setup. I did the upgrade as you suggested and it overwrote all of my portals in the portals folder. What files from the upgrade actually need to move for the core upgrade?

Thought I might try to bump this thread again before I go try it. Just don't want to risk problems when updating from 4.5.1 to 4.5.4

Now 4.5.5.

 

Do yourself a favor and BU everything before any upgrade. It beats losing a portal :).
