You're going to need to be more specific in your question.

What exactly are you trying to do? The source is available for all of the DNN core modules, so you could use that source code in any type of project you like, though based on the license you must leave the original copyright statements in the source code.

I was wondering the same thing.  I don't know the specifics of Yiris needs, but in my case, I am working on a job scheduling module and need a calendar control to present the month in one page like the DNN's Events Module.

Anybody has an example of using that control for a custom module?????

Sure thing. Events module does. Open the source and you'll see all the relavant Javascript files to add and what to do with the fields both in ascx and codebehinds.

Here is the direct answer, though,

  • add <script language="javascript" src="~/controls/PopupCalendar.js"></script> to your ascx file
  • add <asp:hyperlink id="cmdExpiryCalendar" Runat="server"><img src="~/images/icon_calendar.gif" runat="server" width="21" height="17" border="0" /></asp:hyperlink> to your ascx file where you want calendar icon to be
  • add cmdExpiryCalendar.NavigateUrl = DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.Calendar.InvokePopupCal(txtDateExpires); call to your Page_OnLoad event where cmdExpiryCalendar is the icon hirelink's id and txtDateExpires is the textbox id.

Of course you can change the ids as you are pleased and add as many calendar hyperlink as you desire.
