Hello, I am using dotnetnuke for an intranet .  On our network we have programs (.exe) that everyone has access to.  Is there anyway a user can open up one these applications from dotnetnuke.  I tried just using a shortcut, but when you do that it pops up and asks if you want to open or save the file.  I was tryin to figure out if there is a way just to make the program open?

If the .exe works in a browser, you could look at iFrame.

Hi,

I believe this is something that you have to change in your server settings.  If you are using a Microsoft Server, there is an IIS setting you need to adjust.  For the life of me I can't remember it, but I will check my server settings and post back if you are using an MS Server OS.

Hi

I found this blog thread that explains how to do this in IIS 6.0.

Hope this helps.

Jerry
