Fresh install of DNN3.0.13

Installed previous release ForumBlog_03[1].00.11, crash & burn, uninstalled it (no references in database)

Installed new version ForumBlogPA_03[1].00.13, crash & burn again.. annoyed

Here is the scoop

added a new page, added Forum module, created a group & a forum, went back to forum home, and...

A critical error has occurred.
Invalid object name 'Forum_Posts'.
Invalid object name 'Forum_Threads'.
Invalid object name 'Forum_Forums'.
Invalid object name 'Forum_Groups'.
Invalid object name 'Forum_PrivateForums'.
Invalid object name 'Forum_PrivateForums'.
Invalid object name 'UserRoles'.

added a new page, added Forum module, turned off whats new, stats, etc (just a basic forum), added some groups and forums, clicked on a new forum and.....

Invalid object name 'Forum_Threads'. Invalid object name 'Forum_Posts'. 0 11

I checked the database, everything is there, all 4 scripts have run

I have not heard of any reports of this error in previous version nor in this new one yet.  My initial guess is it involves your database owner or object qualifier.

Are you using an object qualifier?  What are you using for your database owner?

Is the user account in the connection string matching for the owner?(ie. dbo and account name are different than dbo and sa account)

no object qualifier, but i am using a database owner

dnn_admin is the database owner
dnn_user is the "normal" user

From web.config

<add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=SQLSERVER;Database=DNN313;uid=DNNUser;pwd=1111;" />
...
<data defaultProvider="SqlDataProvider">
 <providers>
  <clear />
  <add name="SqlDataProvider"
 type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider"
 connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer"
 upgradeConnectionString="Server=SQLSERVER;Database=DNN313;uid=DNNAdmin;pwd=9999;"
 providerPath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\"
 objectQualifier=""
 databaseOwner="DNNAdmin" />
 </providers>

No problems with the installation of DNN313, or with installation of the Forums Module. ASPNET account has all the correct permissions. The databaseOwner (DNNAdmin) has all the correct permissions.  DNNUser has access to the database, and everything else works.

Why are you using seperate connection strings?

Because I can

I am a strong believer in only giving out the minimal amount of permissions. I have worked in a few high security areas, as well as low security.  I know exactly what can and will happen.
