MK,

Yep, first I compared the two files, old web.config and new release.config, and didn't see any differences, so I ran with that, got the ISecure error.  Tried again this AM with copying over data from old web.config into new release.config, renamed, same error.  Has anyone got a fix for this?  Or seen the error aside from the 2-3 posters in this post?

Thanks,

Ian

I have tried the newly released DNN 4.5.5 on my local test site. Upgraded from 4.5.1 to 4.5.5 using Mitchel Sellers' procedure, and ..... (drums).... it passed with no errors whatsoever.

I just had a brainstorm, we have Authentication uncommented as we use single sign-on.  But for kicks, and since its our development server, I commented authentication in the Web.config.  The install ran as it should and all is working.

So advice for those receiving the ISecure error (mentioned earlier in this post ) during install or in your logs make sure authentication is commented out prior to upgrade.
