the limit for SQL server express is 4 gigs and for some reason my database has grown that large.  That would have to be 100s of 1000s of records somewhere.  Even the log file table is only 50,000 records and that only clears out about 14 megs of data.  Any ideas where the bulk of this data is hiding?   Is there a ultility out there that might display how much space each table is consuming?

Yes i have done database shrinks and there is no unused space according to SQL.

dbo.transactions is nearly empty.   I am starting to wonder if one of the modules is programmed to dump its video or picture files into the database and not into the file system.  I wish there was a tool that would show me how much each table in the database is using space wise.

That would seriously help a ton.  I mentioned to my lady work that they may be buying the full SQL server so we could get past this 4 gig limit and there were physical tears from the financial person.  I have to deal with the ..."I thought DNN was going to be free."   question a lot.  I think we all know where the flaw in their logic is but for some reason i just cant get them past the fact that the server and the software to run DNN isnt free.. unless we go linux and they are just not ready for that.
