Hi all,

I'm looking for a reliable, perfomant,  DNN friendly UK based host. I like Fasthosts but I have never used them for DNN. Does anyone have any experience with them and if so would recomend them ? Alternatively if there is a host that has been good for you please let me know. I was thinking of going with this package:

I have used them in the past and had to move away because the hosting wasn't reliable enough.  There are much better UK hosting companies out there.  I would do more research if I were you.

pipex is fairly good.
I have to agree about fasthosts you'll end up paying for every little extra bit you use as well.

I'm also looking for a UK based host.  A lot seems to depend on what sort of site you have (size, criticality, etc) but the best ones seem to be US based, especially if you are looking for a real DNN expertese.  One compromise might be to use a pure DNN US specialist who also has a global presence.  One to think about might be PowerDNN who have servers in the UK as well as Nebraska, although this seems to be a recent innovation.  They offer a 15 day trial (or even 30 days if you look at www.skinningtoolkit.com/WebsiteHostedBy/tabid/199/Default.aspx ) 

I can't speak from experience but it might be something to consider?
