Hello DNN-Forum,

I have the requirement to implement an editor which helps me getting structured content on my website. I read in the Internet (e.g. www.bitflux.com) that an WYSIWYG XML-Editor will be the solution. This editor supports the creation of valid content for each module - I can define a structure of my module so that the user can only type in this kind of data I want to (e.g. there is one module only for Success Stories where I have a headline, one picture and a description).

Is there a XML-Editor existing for DNN?

Thanks and many Regards,

Björn

You might want to check out the alternate Rixh Text Editors to see if they support XML editing.  I am pretty sure that the default one doesn't.

The requirement is the following: I have one module for a specific content type (e.g. a news). For this news I only want to have a headline, a freetext and a footer. The headline, the footer and the freetext do have a predefined style that the user shouldn't change. The rich text editor allows to much functionallity.

Using the XML editor (e.g. http://www.bitflux.com) I can validate my content by a schema and the result is only validated content.

Is there any solution for my requirement?

have you recognized, that bitflux editor ( to be found here http://bitfluxeditor.org) support Mozilla only? besides, the current version is still in beta.

Let me whisper, that there might be a DNN project module in NEAR future, that has the capabilities you need.
