I work as a paramedic, and today was approached by a Fire Department that has opened an Economy Account with GoDaddy.

Can DotNetNuke 4.3.3 be installed using the MySQL? And if so, how is it done?

DotNetNuke uses the Microsoft Sequel Server.  Unfortunately it will not work with MySQL database.  They will need to upgrade to the Deluxe hosting or try a different website framework.

Hi,

I'm a Godaddy's reseller (www.atlanticdomains.net), and you are almost right. It is true that the "Economy" plan does not currently include a MS SQL database; but DotNetNuke is included as a free Add-On application (more info). Nevertheless, if what you really want is your own manual installation you do need to upgrade.

If you do opt for the automatic installation you might want to read this.

Good luck!
