The answer is yes - it should run "out-of the box".

Did you apply the sql script that creates the sql Objects (tables, stored procedures etc).

yeah I copied and pasted the code in the provider file (all of it) into the  SQL box under the host menu on the site and checked the checkbox that said to "run as script".

here is the error message I'm getting in the body of the module...

The stored procedure appears not to be in the database.  Can you check the database itself, and see what happened?
