A confirmation email should be sending automatically.   If there is no email, check the smtp entry, in the host settings (you can run an smtp test there also).

This is the same problem I've been having since creating my site.  I run SBS 2003 R2 and if someone registers with an email address belonging on the server, the confirmation email goes through.  "Test" works perfectly, but a register from an email address not on the Small Business Server does not go out to that address.  As far as I can tell, relays work fine for the local domain, but I could be missing something there.  Help? Please!
