Is there anyway to create new forum programmatically?

Let's say I want to create new custom module, something like course in university. I want each course have one forum. This means everytime I create a new course, I would have to create new forum too right?

Is there any programmatic way to do this? (wthout having the site admin to manually create forum and put it in the same page as the new "course" page)?

Thank You.

Best Regards

You need to look at Forum_ForumEdit.ascx.vb I think it is.  This is the process, just remember you have to have groupid to begin with because of FK constraints.  This means you need to assign groupid in your custom module then go through the process.  You will also have to pass in some other things plus there are considerations if private or moderated.
