The almost same problem was mentioned (but in relation to upload pictures) here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ModuleForums/tabid/820/forumid/7/threadid/13930/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I've a DNN 3.02.01 installation and the forum module 3.20.01.

I get the same error, when uploading a file as attachement to a post. Here the stack:

I've got the same problem (DNN 3.2.2, forum module 3.20.01). I can avoid it by set max file size=0(KB) but it's not help much since  I want to limit max file size attach.
Any idea?

Hi guys,

I’ve tried several weeks now and have come to a conclusion that attachments are not working in the forums module at all. No matter what I do, I can’t upload attachments apart from ZIP files. It’s very strange because I can upload ZIP files but not Jpeg or any other file format.

Allowing users to upload images as attachments and display in the line with text is a must for me so I’ve decided to wait for the next release.

Chris, please please address this issue in the next release.

Thanks,

- Dilshan
