I have a question, something very simple.

I am trying to create an html link to a specific place in a child portal.

What is the syntax for that.

Say i want to send it to a menu item called "test"

www.mypage.com/childone/ ???????

Do i use the tab number? Or name? And how do i put it in the link? What format?

Thanks in advance

There are many ways to get the right url. But the simply way is directly add it from html editor.

1.Select the text, click "add link" shorcut

2:Click "Browse Server" in the popup window

3:Select "Page "  option in the url section popup window.

4.Ok. module will automatic add your selected page url.

I think i am not making myself clear.

I am trying to create a link to a DIFFERENT child portal.

So say i am in www.mypage.com/childone

and want to create a link there to a specific page called "test" on www.mypage.com/childtwo

It's pretty simple to send it to the main page by just typing in www.mypage.com/childtwo but how do i send it to "test"?

You'll need to view the page in another browser and then copy the link, same as you'd need to do with any external site. There's no internal means of browsing and selecting links within child portals so far as I'm aware.
