It seems that I can no longer remove or add pages to my portal or at least not in the usual manner. When I add a new page it all seems good and nice, if I add a module or remove one from that new page then suddenly Im moved at the splash page and I can no longer see that page on the menu. Then the strange things start. If I try to delete the page from the pages admin then some times I do see the page and I can delete it, other times I cant see the page but I can see it in the database and I also get an error. Also if I remove the deleted pages from the recycle bin at first it shows that all have been removed but If I empty the bin again then I get all the old files back.

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index ---> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index at System.Collections.ArrayList.get_Item(Int32 index) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Tabs.Tabs.DeleteTab() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Tabs.Tabs.cmdDelete_Click(Object sender, ImageClickEventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

So far it seems that existing pages all function as they should, modules can be added.

would appreciate any help possible before nuking the server

there seems to be some data damage in your database, which dnn version are you running?

I was using 4.5.5 but I run the 4.6.2 upgrade yesterday. Do u think that I should try and locate the problem or is there a way to fix it without messing with the code/db ?

you should have a look at the tables in your database, I don't see another option.
