Is it possible to give a user limited rights to some of the admin functions?

For example, if I wanted a user to be able only to Do user accounts and Newsletters under the admin tab. Can I limit their access?

thanks,

Dean

Dean,

You can use SQL to hide and/or disable those tabs in the Admin menu you want to restrict. I am pretty sure the value to set for "hidden" is as below. If not, then it is 0. You can do the same for DisableLink to disable one.

UPDATE Tabs
SET
IsVisible = 1
WHERE tabname = 'Tab Name You Want To Hide'
AND portalID = 'Portal Number of Your Portal Here'

If you are talking about creating restricted roles when generating new sites.

Hope it helps
