Hello everybody,

I've a portal which has an home page named "Home". In "Admin" -> "Site settings" I've set this page as the home page. I haven't chosen any page as login page. The home page is visible by all users.

The problem is: when I access to the site the home page isn't displayed; to his place the login module is shown (and in the explorer bar there is "User account" instead of home page title). Only after I've done the login the home page is displayed.

It is very strange, because I've a second portal with same settings in which the home page is correctly displayed.

Could anyone please help me???

Is the login page also set as splash page? You should create a new page with a login module on it. And, then set this login page as your official login page. It is well known that if you don't do this you will often have problems retriving the login page. If you are unable to retrive your login page you will have to use the opensesame.aspx made by John (www.Snapsis.com).

Thank you for your reply makkabokka, I have created the login page, set it as the official login page, but I'm not able to add the "Account Login" module to it...

Any suggestion ?

I am guessing you have already changed the settings of the site as the host. I am not an DNN expert. I can only tell from my experience.

You won't be able to see the login  module if you are already logged in and on the same page. Do you see the login module on the page you created when you are not logged in?

You are right, if I do the log out and then I click on "Login" the login page I created is displayed. The problem is that the login module is still displayed also in home page....
