Hello, I am upgrading my DNN 4.5.5 to 4.6.2.  I overlayed the DNN4.6.2 over the files in my root directory.  I updated the web.config with the machine keys, connection strings, the usual things that I have to change when upgrading.  However, when I navigate to my site to start the upgrade I get the below error.  Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix this.  I don't have a clue on this one.  Thanks.

Hmm, that error message won't get us anywhere.

I would restore a backup and try again ... you do have a backup, do you?

Thanks for responding.  I do a backup of my site and database before each upgrade.  I have restored and tried to upgrade 3 times and get the same error.  It worked on my local machine but all of the pictures and icons are broken.

I have exactly the same problem resulting from the upgrade.

During the upgrade an error was shown in upgrading sqldataprovider 4.6.0, the log showed that several dll's could not be accesses. I am not sure if this has any relation. Finally it showed an error during the compilation of the liveID module.

I can not get my site to work

Your pics and icons are "broken" because of file path changes when running the site locally.

But we still don't know why you can't get it to run on a remote server.
