Has anyone had any issues with their DNN websites not allowing them to login (or their users) using IE Explorer ver 7.x?  I have a site that has this problem and it seems to be browser related.  Unfortunately - I don't have any control what my members use (browser) to log into the site.  Can anyone shed some light on this?

thanks,

Lisa

So you are saying your users can login from IE 6 or Firefox, but not from IE7?

What happend is that I had the wrong version of IIS server selected (set to 2.0) when it should have been set to 1.1 for my version of DNN 3.0  When this happend, logging in only occurred using Firefox and not IE 7.  Now that it is set back to its proper IIS .net version of 1.1 then can I log in.  The login module was not the only module affected, the feedback module also didn't work.

I guess I don't understand why this occurred (albeit that the wrong version was selected...which begs the question that if it was wrong why didn't it work at all?)

Yes, I'm surprised myself that DNN3 was running under asp.net 2.0 at all.

That is an interesting problem and collection of issues.  I have not experienced this, but when you say that they cannot login, are they met with any kind of error, or any other reciprocal behavior?

I also must ask the same thing of the Feedback Module.  Can you describe the behavior that occurs when you observe it not working?  Are there any errors?  Does the form post back?  Do you receive any feedback messages?  Etc.
