Hi,

Please let me know where can I find the files and instructions for AD Authentication setup for 4.6.2 Tried to follow instructions of other related posts, but they do not apply I think. Please let me know if anyone can be of assistance here.

Thanks in advance,

The files are part of the DNN package you downloaded. The zip file will be in the Install/Packages directory but instead of .zip it'll have a .resources extension. Just change that extension to .zip and you can install it under Host->HostSettings->Authentication Services. Other than that if you look at my pinned posts at the top of the forum for installing the provider for 4.6 and the other pinned posts for setting it up you should be good to go. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Has the name qualifier issue been fixed? I have version 1 of the provider and the installation throws the exception regarding the use of database qualifiers. Is there a fixed version?

I don't think it was fixed for 4.6.2 as I don't think the mistake was found until after the release of 4.6.2. I'll have to check with the core team to see if it has been fixed for the next release of DNN.

Thanks Mike,

Everything is working fine. Let me ask you one thing regarding the AD possible configurations. Could I eventually have NT Authentication for my Intranet Users and DNN Authentication for my Internet/Extranet Users on the same website/portal. My problem is that the user is directly prompted to login with NT Authentication etc. Is there a proposed set of configurations to support such a requirement?

Thanks in advance,

Antonis
