Please help. I set up a DNN site on two IIS 6.0 servers with a file server as the back end.  The two web servers are load balanced and for some reason even after I set the registry values I get the following error.

 

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Failed to start monitoring changes to '\\smwfsmp105\Webshare\Portal\LindberghWebSite\Admin\ControlPanel\App_LocalResources' because the network BIOS command limit has been reached. For more information on this error, please refer to Microsoft knowledge base article 810886. Did you have a look at the MS KB article referenced in the error message?

I believe it is related to not being able to host in that manner using Windows XP.

we arent hosting it from xp.. the file server is a win2k3 server.

I had same problem, the KB article suggests adding a value to the LanManServer in the registry, I had to set it to some ridiculously high number, I think 500, and it started working for me.

To be more specific, I made the change on the back-end machine where the content is shared.
