to upload files exept into the portal file store, you need ftp or remote access to the folder.

Your only option is to make a Custom module that used code such as this:

in *.ascx:

<asp:FileUpload ID="txtFileName" runat="server" />
<asp:Button ID="btnUpload" runat="server" OnClick="btnUpload_Click" Text="Upload" />

in *.cs:

string path = MapPath(@"~\");
path = path + txtFileName.FileName;
txtFileName.SaveAs(path);

Hello Ritesh,

If it's meant to try out that IFRAME-redirect solution you've asked about in another question,? to get the username & password to another aspx page? ......then you don't need to get that file in the 'rootfolder'. Simply use IFRAME module and upload your aspx file(s) there in the Portal file store. Make sure in the IFRAME that your aspx page is chosen and not your code-behind page. You probably - as Host- have to add the aspx AND aspx.vb file-extentions so that files with these extensions are permitted for uploading.

Again this is a quick way to do this, but definitely not the best! Have a look at what Michael wrote if you're looking for a more professional solution :)

good luck!
