Indoo SQL grid is very powerful tool to manage all kinds of data, including pictures, documents, files etc. You can think about Indoo SQL Grid as an interface between DotNetNuke presentation level (your website) and database level (your MS SQL Server, Oracle database, MySQL etc.). We designed and developed Indoo SQL Grid to handle very large data tables containing million and more records.

Indoo SQL grid offers more than 100 features to play with data, pictures, documents, files etc. Some of the most wanted are:

• No coding required: yes, if you don’t want you don’t have to write code. 

• Database independence: use native (MS SQL, Oracle) and ODBC clients (MS SQL, Oracle, MySql, MS Access etc.) on local or remote database server. Custom connection string support. 

• Table wizard: create, delete or alter tables and columns without programming in SQL. 

• Form wizard: build custom form to add, edit or delete records in minute. Forms can be built using table as template – select the table and module will create form based on the table. 

• Command columns: create your own command columns implementing JavaScript, Hyperlink or HTML buttons. 

• Full filtering support: by default every column supported by the database can be used as filter in three ways (in list, as standalone field and as dropdown list) 

• Full sorting support: by default every column supported by the database can be sorted ascending or descending (can be disabled). 

• Export and import: import or export data to/from MS Excel, MS Access, clipboard, tab delimited file and HTML. Very useful for initialization, data entry or copying data. 

• DNN  and Indoo tokens support: tokens can be used to insert automated values and to create conditional statements 

• Binary uploading, saving, displaying: save pictures, documents and files to database or on the file system, allow users to upload their content and display all kind of binary files. Full MIME types support. 

• Full format options: use any MS supported format (Date, Number, Currency etc.)

• Full URL navigation: your users can store page state (when adding page to favorites). That means that appearance, filtering, sorting and paging are preserved by using URL that is stored in user's Favorites folder. 

• Programmable header and footer: module’s header and footer can be used to execute custom JavaScript or SQL and to display additional content 

• Custom triggers: custom SQL commands can be executed on insert, update or module view
