Hi. I'm starting to re-design a website that actually is on air. It's host do not support asp.net applications, so I'm installing DNN in a new hosting with a temporal domain name like "testingwebsite.com" because the main domain must appoint to old host while the new site is done.

What have I to consider now before install DNN and what have I to consider at the moment to shutdown the old hosting and add the main domain to my DNN installation host?

Thanks a lot

DNN relies on a portal alias to match the domain.  Just add the new portal alias of the domain name to your testing site.  Naturally change the DNS records of course.
