Hello,

I have same problem. DNN 4.8 with ASP.NET 2.0 Sp1 ( trust level = medium ) have a constant redirect error 302 and doesn't work.

Add me as one more person to this list.

This only happens on a Server 2003 box.  It does not happen on my XP machine.

These are brand new sites and after they go through their install page, the browser just sits and spins.

I checked the IIS logs and I am getting tons of 302 errors.

Have you guys tested DNN on Server 2003 64bit?

I uninstalled .Net 3.0 SP1 and .Net 2.0 SP1...

Problem is, now there is NO .Net installed on the 64bit 2003 server....so I am looking to find just plain 2.0.Net to install...

OK, I was slightly mistaken.  It is a 32bit 2003 server box.

I went to Microsoft's update after uninstalling the .net service packs and installed only the .Net 2.0 install and that fixed the problem.

Not sure what the .Net 2.0 SP1 introduces but somebody is going to have to address that.

afaik there is no known issue with DNN and ASP.NET sp1.

afaik there is an issue and it's a serious one.

I tested on two different Win2003 (32bit) machines with AspNet 2.0 SP1 installed.

Under Medium Trust set in web.config the 4.5.5, 4.6.2, 4.7.0, 4.8.0 all install correctly but will not open in browser.

It looks like a continuous 302 redirect.

If trust is set as full (the web.config entry commented) sites work OK as they should.

Now, the big question is - do I make some stupid mistake or is there something wrong with the Net 2.0 SP1 ?

Ensure that in your portalalias table that you do not have a / after the alias.
