I think it would be useful in a moderated event calendar that when an event is created the moderator should get an email notification that he has to approve an event.

When the moderator acceepts an event there is an option to send an email (to the event creator?).

But on my installation (dnn 4.3.7, event module 3.02.00) none of these notifications are sent. Does this work for anyone or is this a general issue that will be fixed in the next release?

I am not sure how this issue ended. There was a mention of a fix in next release. So just to make sure the ball is not dropped, I wanted to inform you that I am using DNN 4.4.0, and still get "The process cannot access the file 'D:\Inetpub\vhosts\<my domain>\subdomains\<my subdomain>\httpdocs\Portals\0a6ee0982-15ac-41ca-9628-33735bebda98.vcs' because it is being used by another process." when I am trying to email enrolled users from the Enrollment Setting in the Edit Event screen.

Absolutely...we've found the email/notification bugs and corrected them.  The fixed module (w/other improvements) should be out in a few weeks, once it passes acceptance testing.

Hi
Iam having a problem regarding the notifications.Iam not getting any notification settings.
I installed Events module ( Events_3.2_Install) but Iam unable to see the notification part nor do I see any reminder service to the admin or the host .What should I do any how can I see the notification part.


Please help me .
