Whenever I send an e-mail with the NewsLetter module and insert an image, the image is never transmitted with the e-mail.  In other words, the image does not appear in the e-mail received.  The following is the HTML text in the e-mail before it is sent.  Does anyone know why the image is not sent?

<a href="/LinkClick.aspx?link=http%3a%2f%2fdtonetnuke.com&amp;tabid=45"><img width="279" height="86" src="/Portals/0/logo.gif" alt="DotNetNuke.com" /></a>

image links shall be replaced by absolute links to the files on the server, sending images with the mail is currently not supported (planned feature for DNN5). Make sure, the image is accessible via URL.

Thanks for the clarification.  Although it does not resolve the fact that what is sent in the e-mail does not link properly to the image on my server where the image does exist.

The soure code for the e-mail sent is as follows:

<Base Href='heliosfinances.com'><p>test</p>
<p><a href="/LinkClick.aspx?link=http%3a%2f%2fdtonetnuke.com&amp;tabid=45"><img width="279" height="86" src="/Portals/0/logo.gif" alt="DotNetNuke.com" /></a></p>

If I combine the base ref with the src value I get heliosfinances.com/Portals/0/logo.gif and I see the image when I load it in my browser but not in my e-mail.

Also, the HREF value has "/LinkClick.aspx?link=...", why is this sent?  When I try to click on the image holder in the e-mail, the link is not loaded.

the base href seems to be imcomplete, AFAIK this has been fixed in latest version of the Framework, i.e. if you are running a version minor than 4.7.0, you should upgrade it.

I checked the DotNetNuke.dll file on my server and the version is 4.7.0.0

Is this a known problem in earlier versions?  Or is it a problem with just this version?  Does anybody else have this problem.  If not, which version does it work on.  I need to get this working soon.
