I have been tasked to find a solution to prevent file lock/contention in a new web farm we are implementing where i work.  i saw that DNN would solve this by creating a cache, but wasn't sure if it would do it for websites that we already have in existence or if it would only be available for websites created with DNN?  Any help would be extremely appreciated.  Thanks!

DNN isn't what you want, unless you want to convert your sites to DNN.  Check the forums at www.iis.net and www.asp.net for help with your site.

As mentioned above DNN web farm support is only appliciable to the DNN instance and you would need to migrate your entire site over to DNN to benefit from it.

I would recommend researching the sites listed above for some assistance additionally if you are still having questions I would reach out for some assistance.
