Hi,

I've had my current DNN 4.03 web site up for over a year now. I wanted to try some new modules, but I can't get them to install. I log in as super user, go to Host --> Module Definitions --> Upload new module. After I've selected the zip file from my hard drive, added it, then clicked upload, nothing happens.

Why won't it upload? I've installed lots of other modules before. Is there a limit or something? I can't find the folder in File Manager where the modules are located. I thought about loggin in with FTP and uploading them, but they still wouldn't be installed. Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Brenda

there seems to be an issue with your installation or browser. Alternatively you can upload the module packages via ftp into /install/module folder and enter

/install/install.aspx?mode=installresources

into the addressbar of your browser to start installation.

Thank you so much Sebastian. I uploaded with Smart FTP and followed your instructions and it worked like a charm. The nice thing is I was able to upload several modules at one time, and it was fast too.

How would I manually install a skin or container using the same FTP method?
