I have a fresh install of DNN 4.7.0. I have installed ADProvider 1.0.0 (running on a Windows Server 2003 R2 with IIS6, database is SQL Server 2005). I followed the documentation from the project pages to configure Active Directory Settings. But, no matter what I do, I fail to access the global catalog, even if i use the domain administrator/password. The difference from the documentation to my customer's domain, is that the domain is defined like this: dc=somevalue,dc=anothervalue, dc=no (somevalue.anothervalue.no). I have also tried to enable impersionate (<identity impersonate="true" userName="somevalue.anothervalue.no\myuserid" password="mypassword" />), without luck. The server is a member of the domain.

Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

Regards,
Roy

It doesn't appear that you're doing anything wrong at all. At this point all I can suggest is trying an LDAP specific program such as Softerra's LDAP Browser (http://www.ldapbrowser.com) just to verify that you can make an connection to the AD from the server.

The problem was in the AD itself, so now the problem is solved. But, i get an annoyng login messeage box very often. This occured after removing the "Allow Anonymous" in the properties for the windows login page. This happens on almost every page i access, even if the user already is logged in to the domain and to the intranet.

Is it the Windows IIS login box or are you being redirected to DNN's login control? If it's the prior of the two is the site in the Trusted Sites or Intranet Zone in the internet options on your computer?

It is the iis logon box. When i start the intranet, i am redirected to http://intranett/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx?tabid=36, and the logon box shows up. The site is defined as a local intranet, and also in trusted sites.
