Hi All,

I'm having problems skinning the new Calendar module.  There seem to be a lot of things that have inline styles that are overriding my CSS.  Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a solution?

Thanks,
Cary

If you're discussing the new 3.2 Version of the Calendar module...this is correct.  We have changed the Calendar Control and went back a more standard version that does not override all the styles output by the Microsoft Calendar control...We can override these styles...but others don't understand style sheets as well.  What we are think abouts is an option that lets you select a complete override of the Calendar Styles (the default would be not to override).

Do you mean that people don't understand how to correctly skin the calendar control?

Yes.  Even I have problems sometimes with the CSS.  The original Microsoft Calendar Control injects inline styles.  I have a way to override...but others have said it looks strange (because they don't have it skinned correctly).  If you can send me a skin/css from an older version of the calendar (along w/a  screen shot)...I'll work with it and make sure the skinning on the control works correctly...I also had to move away from the previous subclassed control, because of licensing and DNN project guidelines.  My email is: support@avanced.net

Thanks.

I don't have a screen shot of the previous look.  I never anticipated needing one.  I do know that I could skin the previous and next month links, which I can't do now.  I've got a navy blue background on the header and the black text doesn't show up now.

Thanks,
Cary
