We need more info, in order to help...Error Log?  Screen Shots? etc.  I assume you're discussing the Beta calendar module?  Which Version of the Module?  Of DNN?

Apologies, panic post.

I managed to locate the relevant records in the database and remove it manually. But for the record, DNN 4.0.2, latest Calendar beta (3.2.0 Beta4b).

Added a Calendar to a page (called Events), added a Calendar List to home page. Deleted the Calendar from page. Calendar List reports an error which prevents you getting to the settings page to select delete.

Cheers,
  Brian

OK.  I understand.  Since the Calender List does not create any database records (it just links to an existing Calendar), this is a problem.  I can create a table and reference the related Calendar to delete the reference...this would solve the problem...i think.

I have to admit that I was a little surprised when the documentation specifically stated that deleting the module instance did not delete the database tables. Under that scenario I was surprised that the Calendar List didn't continue to function but thinking about it now I guess that it inherits some of it's settings from the Calendar itself.

You almost want to either remove related Calendar Lists on delete or make the list that little bit more independent and perhaps warn on the settings page that the List has limited functionality because the main Calendar has been deleted.

Last thing would be, if someone (for whatever reason) deletes the Calendar it would be really nice to be able to re-create the instance using the same database entries, i.e. being able to select either a new or existing Calendar 'name' when you fire up the settings for the first time (in much the same way you select calendars to add to a Master).

That's my two penneth worth. I hadn't said it before but thank you for this module, it's definitely a gift!
