eck two,

Thanks for info - I have checked it and I think this is it. It is not bug in this case but just very bad design. It is absolutely pointless to call "makethumbnail.aspx" with tabid URL parameter for example when "makethumbnail.aspx" is not part of dnn framework but totally independent aspx page using its own objects only.  Since 4.7 version I think. Earlier versions with same module work without problems. Thank you very much for clarification.

Kind regards,

Primoz

My thanks as well - but I'm still stuck somewhat. I am not using makethumbnail.aspx. I am willing to pass a portalId or moduleId as you suggest, but am not sure what that looks like - is it something like "/portalId/3" included on the url?

Thanks again.

Rick,

You can pass this parameter to "makethumbnail.aspx" (or similar page) in any form: like /portalid/3 or as regular url parameter like makethumbnail.aspx?portalId=3. You can pass tabId parameter instead of portalid. I have used makethumbnail.aspx?tabid=123 (on page which is not part of dnn framework and do not use this parameter at all but this is new "feature" since dnn version 4.7, I think :-) and now works fine.

Kind regards

Primoz

What about the case where there are no ASPX pages called? Only the normal use of the portal, and refreshing a page such as this?http://localhost/MyDNN/Home/tabid/53/Default.aspx
This is a valid url, which, although doesn't say tabid=  or portalId=   it does have the alias, tab info, and all the necessary info in the URL (which should get translated properly by the DNN internals).

I still get logged out from a refresh or two in this case.

Any idea?

Thanks!
