Website will run entire portal on localhost.  When you try public IP it tells you "Internet Explorer Cannot Display This Page".  I am able to display the ErrorPage.aspx when I type that in manually so I know my site is accessable.  I can only figure that I have some permission set wrong and it is not executing someing to deliver the page.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm running dnn version 4.8 against a 2005 SQL Server with IIS6 on 2003 Servers.

Once you have installed DotNetNuke via one address it creates an association.  You will need to ADD a new PortalAlias to the system for the public IP address, then the page will work as expected.

You can do this 2 ways.  1.) Login to the portal via localhost as the host user, then go to Admin -> Site Settings.  Scroll to the bottom and click "Add HTTP Alias".  2.) YOu can modify the db directly, the records are in the "PortalAlias" table.

Thank you for the information.  It worked great and saved me from trying to reload the portal again.  I had logged back into the system as admin and not host so I never saw the alias link at the bottom of the page.  I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
