I am getting the same SQL errors. I can't seem to find the connection strings in the web.config file. It seems to point to connectionstrings.config. That file has the correct DB info in it.

The only thing I can find is this in the web.config file.

 <connectionStrings configSource="connectionstrings.config" />
  <appSettings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules   -->
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Data Source=.\SQLExpress;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|Database.mdf;" />
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=(local);Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;"/>
    -->

Am I looking in the correct place?

Brian,

there are 2 connection strings, it is the second one (legacy version, in AppSettings) which is used by UsersOnline and needs to be the same as the one in ConnectionStrings section (only uncommented strings are effective!).

Sebastian, Thank you very much. I didn't realize that the legacy code needed to be uncommented and changed. But everything is working now. I appreciate it very much.
