My understanding of the useWebForSite="true" snippet of code in my skin's ascx file means that the Web Search results should be displayed inside the search results module and not in a popup window by default. I included it in my skin's ascx file and I'm getting the same results as the site search. No Luck!

Here is my snippet of code for the dnnSearch Skin Object that I placed in my skin's ascx file:

<dnn:SEARCH runat="server" id="dnnSEARCH" UseWebForSite="True" showWeb="False" ShowSite="True" />

...And here is my snippet of code I changed in the /Admin/Skins/App_LocalResources/ directory:

<data name="URL.Text">
<value>http://www.google.com/custom?q=[TEXT]&sa=Search&client=pub-4896113708242890&forid=1&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%23008000%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3BVLC%3A663399%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3A336699%3BALC%3A0000FF%3BLC%3A0000FF%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A0000FF%3BGIMP%3A0000FF%3BFORID%3A1&hl=en&sitesearch=[DOMAIN]</value>
</data>

My question in the previous post is how do I control the Google Adsense for Search to display results inside the default search results page? I have also looked at the /Admin/Skins/Search.ascx.vb file and cannot find anything that initializes the UseWebForSite="True" Statement. I did find why the site search opens in a new window, UrlUtils.OpenNewWindow(strURL).

In the /Admin/Skins/Search.xml file says the UseWebForSite,"Instructs the Search control to use the external Web search feature for the internal Site search." There is no mention of how to implement the UseWebForSite="true" feature and what it does exactly.

I'm guessing it displays the same results inside the default search results page as soon as you have it configured correctly so no Popup Windows Open:

http://www.google.com/custom?q=maps&sa=Search&client=pub-4896113708242890&forid=1&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%23008000%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3BVLC%3A663399%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3A336699%3BALC%3A0000FF%3BLC%3A0000FF%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A0000FF%3BGIMP%3A0000FF%3BFORID%3A1&hl=en&sitesearch=

Hope this post helps everyone in the forums that is new to DotNetNuke.
