Was testing exporting of portal templates today on my development site, and noticed that once I had exported the templates with content the two files were created appropriately as below:  ( I was able to see them thru my ftp client which I happened to have open at the time)

  • BPTT_Initial_4_8_0.template
  • BPTT_Initial_4_8_0.template.resources

However, once I opened the Host -> File Manager the .resources file disappeared....(as well as the DotNetNuke.template.resources file for that matter too).  Looks like they are permanently gone as I can no longer see them thru my FTP client either.

Now when I go to create a portal from this template (or the DotNetNuke template as well) the root of the new portal contains none of the content that is supposed to be there...pictures, etc.

Anyone run into this issue?  Is this an item fixed by the stability releases for 4.8.x ?

DNN v4.8.0     DB Sql2005

Thanks,

Chris
