I'm trying to get a text/html module to have edit permissions for demo purposes. I've tried a bunch of different configurations but it doesn't work. Anyone know how to accomplish this without a security risk? Or should I just set up a subportal for a demo?

Giving all users edit access to the text/html module is a BIG security risk in my opinion.....regardless, as they could add scripts, redirects, etc...

Yeah, that's what I figured. I guess it's only "safe" to set up another domain with a separate portal for demos.

I don't see why giving users edit permissions to the text/html module on certain page is the "BIG" security risk.

Which particular feature is a security risk?  Tokens, access to the rich text editor?

Text/HTML is not designed for public access - content is not filtered for scripts, that might harm other visitors computer. I built a more secure version some time ago and plan to post it on DNNforge next week.
