You need to give the role 'Registered Users' the moderator privilege in the Moderation Settings area of the Module Settings. Note all users will be able to edit all events, I hope that is what you want.

how to display pop up window ehenever a page is displayed?

how to get notification of new threads and new post instantly as the user logs in ,without email notification

Is this in relation to the events module? If not you may be better off in the Configure It or Extend It forum.

how to get notification of new threads and new post instantly as the user logs in ,without email notification
 
I'm guessing this is related to the forum module, which would be better place in the Forum Module forum.
