Hello everybody!

If I change the default language (just the user language) to a non-english language (spanish, portuguese, french, etc) the sorting days field ("Display threads from: ") at the bottom of the forum pages doesn't work. The "all days" option is the only option working.

Is that a known problem? If it is, can I hide this feature?
I am using version 04.04.03. Is this the latest avaiable version?

Thanks in advance,
Vitor.

The 4.4.3 is the last released version.  Check the translation files.  If you have not a well formed and actually release of the Languagepack your problem can caused.  If you have still only the languagepack for version 3.x installed it need a upgrade.  But I do not know if there existing a languagepack 4.4.3 for all languages.  You can check it in your resourcefiles over Admn or host check then the language and use the editor.

Hi Matthias,

I have checked the language pack and it is well formed.
But really, I don't think this is a customization problem. Why? Look what I have done, step by step:

1. Created a brand new default installation of DNN;
2. Installed the Forum module;
3. Created a new page and added the forum module;
4. Added a topic in the forum;
5. Added a new Locale Definition ("English - United Kingdom" for example) in Host -> Languages;
6. Accessed the Forum and selected "Last Week" in the filter (at this point, the filter works!);
7. Changed the Preferred Locale of the user to "English - United Kingdom" (by clicking in the UK flag);

The page has refreshed and the topic disappeared!! If I click in the USA flag, the topic appears again.

So, the problem is happening under a brand new installation, without any customized translations.

I have "googled" for other non-english DNN forums and is quite easy to find the same problem happening!
Look this spanish forum http://www.dnn-hispano.com/Foro/tabid/53/forumid/4/scope/threads/Default.aspx and try to use the filter.

Maybe it is an issue related to the date format (MM/DD)?
What do you think? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Vitor

I found it.  Ok it looks it happens with the portal language.  So if you using a other language as the portal is setting up, your issue caused up.  I have postet it as a bug in the gemini.  Thank you.
