Hi, can someone please help me out with this? I have a security role called Volunteers and on certain tabs, I granted them edit access. However, when they login, they see the control panel that allows them to Add Pages etc.

Is this working as designed or am I missing something? I thought that only admin or host accounts could add pages or modules to pages.

Thanks

I figured this one out. Turns out I granted edit access at tab (or page) level whereas I should have been granting edit access at module settings in each tab(page).

Hi,

Those volunteers are able to edit the page, and they can also add pages below that page. They will not be able to add pages anywhere else in your site though.

I don't think you can change this behaviour to only allow them to create and maintain modules on that page without enabling them to create new pages.

Hi,
I am running dnn 3.2.2 and do not see this kind of behavior. If I set a user role to edit on a page/tab then anyone with that role can edit existing modules but does not have the ability to add modules or additonal pages. The behavior that you describe is exactly what I am looking for! Is it a function in version 4 or am I setting something wrong in the dnn 3 settings?????????
Thanks,
Mike
