OOPS!

My first dotnetnuke install and the first thing I do is lock myself out.

I was fooling around on the admin page (bad move) and I set the main page for the login to be "home". Of course every time I try to login now It just refreshes the home page. In effect I have created a loop (not bad for a newbie, huh!). Could someone tell me how to reset the page without loging in (which I can't do). Is it possible to go to the SQL DB backend and make the change there? Or maybe , can I reset the install somehow back to the default settings? I am on a hosted server but I do have access to the SQL DB.

I am dead in the water without some help so please fire away with the suggestions.

TIA

Thank you for the quick response. I did not lose my password, I changed the login page to default back to the home page. I can't login because every time I click on the login link, it loops me back to the default home page. I may be wrong but why would creating a new login account change that loop? It seems to me that the DB must have a table that tells it which page to default to based on our choices on the admin page. I made a bad choice and created a loop back to the home page. If there is a way to change this back in the SQL DB, I think that would be easiest. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA

I figured it out. I went into the SQL DB table named Portals and changed the HomeTabID, LoginTabId and UserTabID back to "NULL". After reseting the site in IIS I was back to the default install.
