Actually, the problem is easy to fix without code changes.  We just modified the following regular expression for the friendly urls.

From: [^?]*/TabId/(\d+)(.*)
To:   [^?]*/TabId/(\d+)((?!.*\.axd).*)

Uses what I think is called a negative look ahead and basically says that it wil match that URL, except in cases when it contains .axd afterwards.  The chart now works after this mod and this should work for any version of DNN that comes with the friendly urls functionality.

You might try the following.

The existing path for the handler is

path="ChartImage.axd"

Try changing this to

path="*ChartImage.axd"

See if that has any imact!

That actually made it worse.  I guess Telerik is checking it to see if it exists in Web.config.  If it doesn't match exactly, their control shows a message saying that the handler needs to be added to Web.config. I had actually tried that independently before you posted, but thank you for the suggestion.

Interesting. I guess that means that the ChartImage.axd handler doesn't like QS variables on the end.

In other words domain/tabid/99/ChartImage.axd works, but domain/ChartImage.axd?tabid=99 does not.

I have a feeling that may cause a problem with your ScriptResource.axd and WebResource.axd requests since they do require Querystring variables.
